Our Story
Rocky’s Place Ice Cream opened in 2021 with a focus on premium desserts and a welcoming hometown atmosphere.
Founded by Nina and Rob Renner, Rocky’s quickly became a place where families, friends, neighbors, and local groups could come together over soft serve, hand-dipped favorites, milkshakes, sundaes, and classic treats.
In 2025, Rocky’s began a new chapter when Skip and Claire took over as owners. Our goal has been simple: continue what made Rocky’s special while finding new ways to make it an even better gathering place for the Greenback community.
Rocky’s is more than a place to grab ice cream. It’s a place to meet friends after school, bring the family for an evening treat, enjoy some after-church fellowship, celebrate a birthday, gather with a team or group, or simply sit down and spend some time together.
As Rocky’s continues to grow, we want it to remain what it was always meant to be: a friendly, comfortable place where our community can gather, connect, celebrate, and make a few memories along the way.
